Pastor Gary L. Davis, a native of Rossville, Tennessee, has served as the Senior Pastor of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Byhalia, MS for over 20 years. Pastor Davis is the husband of Shannon Denise Perkins Davis; the father of Zacchaeus, Joshua and Zipporah Davis; as well as the grandfather of Austin Davis.

He is an anointed preacher and teacher. His vision for the church is “To Give Help and Hope to Hurting People”. He is committed to winning souls for Christ so that the people of God are edified through the teaching and preaching of the Word; empowered spiritually through an atmosphere of worship; and equipped to evangelize the un-churched with direction from God through prayer.

Pastor Davis holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology; completed Training in the Evangelism Explosion Program and earned a Certificate in Christian Training. He also earned an Associate’s Degree in Computerized Accounting. Pastor Davis founded S.C.O.R.E. (Shiloh Community Out-Reach Explosion) Ministry and “Make it Last Forever” Marriage Ministry. Before becoming pastor of Shiloh, Pastor Davis was Youth Pastor at Lagoshen Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor James H. Rosser, in Rossville, TN.

He believes that his first ministry is at home, because God established the home before the Church; he also believes that church ministry is just a “mirror reflection” of our ministry at home.
